Littelfuse has expanded its eFuse Protection ICs portfolio with four new devices offering highly integrated overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overtemperature, reverse-current and inrush protection in compact packages for inputs from ~1.8 V to 28 V.

New devices

• LS0504EDD12 – 5 V / 4 A low-R_ON load switch (DFN 1.2 × 1.6)
• LS12052BD33 – 18 V / 5 A with OVP clamp, programmable current limit/soft-start and reverse-current blocking (DFN 3 × 3)
• LS2405IDD23 – 24 V / 5 A ideal-diode / OR-ing device (DFN 2 × 3)
• LS24062RQ23 – 28 V / 6 A bidirectional dual-port eFuse with independent current limiting (QFN 2.5 × 3.2)

These single-chip solutions deliver higher accuracy, faster response and greater flexibility than traditional fuses or discrete circuits, while reducing board space, BOM cost and design time. Typical applications include USB Type-C systems, SSD/HDD, servers, telecom, notebooks, battery systems, appliances and industrial controls.
